Frequently Asked Questions (Live Station)
1. Is the Fortune Food Live Station Halal-certified? Yes, Fortune Food is proud to be MUIS Halal-certified. Our live stations are a popular choice for multi-cultural corporate events, weddings, and community gatherings in Singapore, ensuring all your guests can enjoy our heritage flavors with peace of mind.
2. What are the space requirements for a Popiah Live Station? We typically require a space of approximately 2m x 2m for our standard setup. This includes room for our professional master roller, the ingredient display, and a service area for your guests. We also require a standard power outlet for lighting or specific equipment if needed.
3. How many guests can one Live Station serve? Typically, one artisan can serve 60 to 80 portions per hour, depending on the food item. To ensure a smooth experience for your guests, simply let us know your total guest count and event duration; we will advise on the best arrangement and number of stations required. Contact our Events Specialist.
4. How long does a typical Live Station session last? Our standard service is 2 to 3 hours minimum. This includes 30 minutes for pre-event setup and 30 minutes for clearing after the service. We are highly flexible and can extend service for half-day or full-day events (such as carnivals or family days) upon request.
5. Do you provide a vegetarian option at the Live Station? Yes! Because our popiah is made-to-order on the spot, our chefs can easily customize rolls for your guests. We can prepare vegetarian-friendly rolls by omitting eggs, garlic, and sambal chili upon request.
6. What is the lead time for booking? To ensure our artisans and team are available for your preferred date, we recommend booking at least 7 to 14 days in advance. This is especially important for weekend slots, public holidays, and peak festive seasons like Chinese New Year.
7. Does the live station include other dishes like Kueh Pie Ti or Laksa? While our main focus is Popiah, we will be able to serve as long as it is in our menu, , such as Kueh Pie Ti, Laksa, Muah Chee or Orh Nee.
