Huat Home Party for 8 Pax

We love the DIY popiah as the ingredients are all very fresh, love the laksa too, it was delicious. We just need to re-heat the soup as it turns lukewarm when it was delivered to us. KPT and Muay Chee are both a must eat too :)

Convenient way to have a mini gathering at home

Clear instructions on the place mat given with the brief instructions highlights to kick-start a great party with great foodstuffs to last us the whole afternoon.

Fun with Home Party Pack

We ordered the Huat Family Party Pack from Fortunate Food and were really impressed! The portions were generous, the dishes were tasty and well-prepared, and everything arrived fresh and nicely packed. It was perfect for sharing with family, and everyone enjoyed the variety. Great value for money and very convenient for gatherings. Will definitely order again!

Popiah set

Excellent. Ample food and good experience collecting. Will order again in future.

Food was bland

Disappointed with recent order as the food was bland. Popiah/pie tee filling was cut thickly and not simmered enough to soak in the flavour. Laksa was lacking in taste as well. Very different from previous experience

Huat Home Party for 8 Pax

Overall, popiah fillings and popiah skin was disappointing. Skin turns hard fast, fillings wasn’t tasty.
Laksa and Muah Chee was average.
Food delivered way too early at 3pm + when our requested time was 5-6pm.

Happy customer

Very good with quality

Home Huat Party for 8

Great food, abundant catering. All guests enjoyed food and had fun making them (DIY).

Average standard

The turnip was dry and lacks flavour.
The chillies sambal liked and did not suit us. Sadly, we only enjoyed the muah chee.

Excellent laksa and popiah!

Portion

Portion can be more comparing the price

It's a WOW for all of us!

Planned a surprise party at work and had to 'upsize' our meal last minute. Every process was seamless and every morsel delicious! We had so much fun creating our own version of laksa, popiah, muah chee, kueh pie tee! This is great if you wan something hands on and still moreish! Thank you for the amazing customer service too!

Popiah reunion

Ingredients given were fresh and more than sufficient for our gathering. Good way of connecting with family members while enjoying the "nostalgic" experience of making popiah :)

Party for 8 pax

The popiah was good. Laska a bit cold when served. The most challenging was the muaji. The guests could not manage it, thus they did not eat it. Such a pity as it was delicious. Suggest to have it in 8 pieces.

Yummy!

Wasn’t expecting much when I ordered this but the party set turned out very well. The delivery was on time, the food were packaged very well. I like the idea of the individual food which comes with instruction mat. My guests all praised the food quality and generous portion. The food was a highlight for my party.

More than enough food

More than enough food! Will be back!

Party perfect

Food was fresh, amazing and everyone had a lot of fun ! Kwey pie ti was the highlight. and surprisingly it was more food than we expected. probably because we werer all small eaters and after lunch!!! definitely will order again for parties. super convenient. perfect for kids, young & old. highly recommended indeed

Hari Raya Lunch

Splendid! All my guests enjoyed the dishes! Will definitely order again!

Huat Home Party

My guests enjoyed the food tremendously. Food was delicious n the DIY experience of making the popiah n kuih pie tee was thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you!

Huat Home Party for 8 Pax Review

Mua chee is superb nice! soft and not dry!
Kwey pie tee and Laksa also taste good! love the veg. Potion for prawns too little
Popiah so-so only. dont like the egg, no taste.

Best!

Food was good and I loved the muah Chee! Have ordered this many times! Thanks Fortune foods!

More options for Party pack

Maybe can provide options for the sides and dessert in this party pack. Eg for dessert instead of just giving Muay Chew, give another option for Nonya dessert. Also there were not enough popiah skin and we had to buy extra 1kg. If you are not intending to give more popiah skin, then at least allow purchase of the skin in smaller quantity like half a kg.

Huat Home Party for 8 Pax

Good.
All my guests love this .

New Year Huat Huat Fortune Food

Will be good if can give more of the popiah skin. Some skin torn when we try to separate / wrap it. End up we have not enough to popiah skin to wrap after double wrapped some of the “burst” popiah. The rest was good and fun to enjoy with small group of friends. Will definitely recommend and order again next time.

Popiah ingredients

Repeat customer, bought many times. Kind of disappointed with the minced garlic, it has a strange taste & smell. Different from previous orders. So seller has to look into the Garlic quality.

8 Pax set

It was all good. Quantity of food can feed more than 8 pax. Laksa was yummy.

Great food for gathering

Good portion and delicious. The muah Chee is soft and chewy

Great

Nice food & reasonable portion.

Definitely will order again

Food quality was good. However the portion for laksa was abit too little. Would have been better if the portion is increased cos everyone was enjoying that.

Great food & fun party with friends

Very yummy food & loved the combination. Highly recommended!
