Questions

Good to know

Is the food halal?

Everything is prepared in our MUIS Halal-certified central kitchen in Bedok, which makes our live stations a popular choice for multi-cultural corporate events, weddings and community gatherings.

How much space do you need?

About 2m × 2m for a standard station. That covers our master roller, the ingredient display and a serving area for your guests. A standard power point helps for lighting or equipment.

What size table do you need?

Each station needs a table of at least 1500mm × 700mm (about 5ft × 2.3ft) for our ingredient display and rolling area. Please let us know when booking if your venue doesn't have one.

How many guests can one station serve?

One artisan serves about 60 to 80 portions an hour, depending on the dish. Tell us your guest count and event length, and we'll recommend how many stations you need.

How long does a session last?

Our standard service is 2 to 3 hours, plus 30 minutes to set up before and 30 minutes to clear after. We can also serve half-day or full-day events, such as carnivals and family days.

Can you make vegetarian rolls?

Yes. As each popiah is made to order, our chefs can prepare vegetarian-friendly rolls without egg, garlic and sambal chilli on request.

How far ahead should I book?

We recommend 7 to 14 days ahead, and earlier for weekends, public holidays and festive periods like Chinese New Year.

Can you serve other dishes besides popiah?

Yes. Popiah is our signature, and we can also serve dishes from our menu such as kueh pie ti, laksa, muah chee and orh nee.
